The Eyes Have It: It's Why I'm Cuckoo For Coco Puffs

It seems that our strange addiction to Cap'n Crunch is not entirely our own fault. That maven of the sea, Horatio Magellan Crunch, has been secretly hypnotizing kids with his eyes.

The rum-soaked bastard isn't alone in this subversive activity, either, apparently.
Creepy Cap'n Crunch first coined the phrase, "Li'l Buddy."

Family Band: The Day the Music...and Bob...Died

What do you get when you cross the Partridge Family with a fundamentalist Christian group?

Apparently, you get these idiots.

There has to be a Bonaduce somewhere in the bunch.
Somewhere, Reuben Kinkaid is shaking his head, "No."

Tiny House: Uhm, Why?

We actually like the tidy house craze. We totally get it. However, this is ridiculous.

We mean, why would you ruin a perfectly good tiny house by attaching that lousy hybrid to it?

It was a fine idea at the time; now, it's a stupid mistake.

Kill The Gays: All We Have Left Are Brain-Dead Rednecks

This California idiot wants to kill gay people.

Robin Williams, in one of his movie roles, says something like "Well, if we kill all the fags, spics, wops, and gooks, then all we will have left are a couple of brain-dead rednecks, and what fun is that?"

Amen.

This is scary-wacky.

The Sports Wacky: Odd German Sports

In honor of one of our German (Germerman) freunds, we present a daily wacky sports report on odd sports in Germany and other Deutch-spraken countries.

Yes, we went to the Sid Caesar school of language.

He was a poor wrestler because he was all thumbs...

Eclipse End Times: We Revisit An Old Friend

And that old friend is the wacky fringe of religious stupidity. These guys and even these guys swear on their bibles--literally--that today's eclipse marks a sign of the end of the age.

We hope so. At least for them.

Bad moon risin...

Coffee Enemas: Make Mine A Cappuccino

Yes, the human race is finally done it. We have reached the outer edges of extreme wackiness.

Insert coffee enema joke in the comments (key word: insert).

Okay, the hot coffee I can see, but that handle's gonna leave a mark...

Election Distemper: If This Were a Dog We'd Put It Down...

Somehow, even with the announcement of this doofus as a candidate for president of the United States, it still doesn't make Donald Trump's recent announcement that he is running again any less wacky.

Welcome to the beginning of the silly season of the 2016 campaign.

Paul Is Dead: Round Up the Usual Suspects

From our Editor: Well, as a lifelong Beatle fan, I knew even in the late '60s that the 'Paul is dead' meme was crap. Yet, these guys insist and even back it up here that Paul McCartney "blew his mind out in a car" almost 50 years ago.

Does that explain Say, Say, Say?

Nazitubbies: Tinky Winky is the LEAST of Our Worries

So, even though the Teletubbies were on TV for relatively short time and went off the air a decade ago, conspiracy theories about that show have abounded for years.

The bizarre ramblings of a guy who manages to combine several of the wacky theories about these children's television characters can be found here.

These theories are causing me to see the Banana Splits in a whole new light…

Held With No Crime: So Much for the Moral High Ground

This poor man.  The wacky part about this is in no way funny or amusing. It's a sad statement on the moral decay in our country. And I don't mean that from a religious or political perspective the way it is used often.  I mean any hope we have as a nation of saying that we are capable of good, or we are proponents of liberty and justice--those go out the window when we read of things like this. Shame on us. On all of us.

Better Then Than Now: Golly, We Sure Miss Communist Oppression

On a trip over Christmas to Eastern Europe, one of our editors heard several residents of a country he visited exhibit deep longing for the old communist days. As incredible as it may seem, a majority of people in several Eastern European countries express nostalgia for the Old Days.

For example, over 70% of Hungarian say things were better during the communist period than they are now. Wacky.

Still doesn't explain this communist 'artistic' monstrosity:

Piltdown Man: You Can Fool All of the People Some of the Time

Today we feature an unusual wacky. This one comes to us from the pages of science history. It has the added bonus of being a really cool prank. The wacky factor comes from how wonderfully the prank succeeded.

Ladies and germs, we give you Piltdown Man.

A century later and we still don't know for sure who the wacky genius was behind it. It's also hard at this distance to judge the incredible effect it had on the scientific community of the day. Kudos, anonymous prankster!
Another example of a missing link hoax...

Internet Cafe Living: Beats the Bus Station

It seems that some Japanese guys are living in an Internet cafe by night and going to their jobs during the day.

We can see this. One of our editors once lived in a bar at a Holiday Inn in Levelland, Texas for three weeks. Of course, that was before rehab…

It's Japan. Who knows why they do anything?

Human Zoo: It Was Cute When Billy Pilgrim Was In One

We at the wacky international headquarters completely understand what this guy was trying to do.

No kidding.

But it's like making a joke too soon after a really horrific event. Or maybe never is too soon in this instance. The sad fact is that human zoos actually existed as recently as 70 years ago in Europe.

That's wacky.

UnReality Sandwich: Kubrick & Moon Fakery

We here really really really really hope that the author of this absolute lunacy is only pulling our collective leg.

Please tell us it is only a joke. Because anyone who actually believes this should be put away in a rubber room.

Dressing Like Hitler: Because Our Town Already Has an Attila the Hun

I guess I owe a big apology to all those Elvis impersonators I used to look down on. In this context, they seem fairly normal.

That's My Hitler! The new hit TV show.

You just can't hail a cab this time of day...

South Africa Origins: The Stoned Age

Class, today's wacky turns to the realm of pseudoscience once again. Pseudoscientists, like pseudo Christian researchers, seem to inhabit about 50% of what's on the Internet.

So, there's this guy. Says that a civilization found in South Africa is 200,000 years old and was the basis for the Egyptian and Sumerian civilizations that would come, oh, 194,000 years later.

It gets better. He says that the circles have healing, heat, and radiation properties unlike anywhere else on the planet. All of this, he argues, points to extraterrestrial assistance.

There is no evidence yet, however, of the amount of cannabis he consumes daily.

GI Joe Would Have a Field Day: The Ave Maria Grotto

Take a good look at that picture above. Imagine this type of handcrafted-concrete-marble-glass-construction kitsch strewn across about 4 acres.

If this type of thing were done by your eccentric uncle in his backyard, people would call him a bit wacky. If you're the Catholic Church, however, you venerate the Benedictine monk who spent a lifetime doing this stuff and charge people $5 to come see it.

And people love it. It's called Jerusalem in Miniature.

Diaper Dandies: 'Cause We Don't Need Any MORE Bad Press

I'll admit to some confusion here. The board seems to be dedicated to people who enjoy wearing diapers? And this topic is concerned with carbonated enemas?

Apparently the coolest head among these wackos offers this sage advice: "As much as I enjoy [the] Darwin Awards, please don't try this, folks. We don't need another round of bad press for people in diapers..."

No, you don't. The fact that this is on the Internet in the first place is plenty of bad press.
