Better Then Than Now: Golly, We Sure Miss Communist Oppression
On a trip over Christmas to Eastern Europe, one of our editors heard several residents of a country he visited exhibit deep longing for the old communist days. As incredible as it may seem, a majority of people in several Eastern European countries express nostalgia for the Old Days.
For example, over 70% of Hungarian say things were better during the communist period than they are now. Wacky.
